Jasmyn Farm Stall & Windmill Restaurant

Harties Landmark

The locals know it as “Die Windpomp” or simply “Jasmyn” and it is very unlikely for those visiting Hartbeespoort to not hear about the towns’ most popular spot to shop for farm fresh produce. Jasmyn Farm Stall is a Harties landmark with the Dutch-style windmill and thatch roofed farm stall building hard to miss!

Jasmyn opened in 2004 and has grown to include two restaurants, a book store, home décor corner and a Sunday arts & craft market. The main feature of the store however, is its impressive selection of organic goods, farm fresh produce, cheese from their own cheese factory, fresh home baked goods, meats and biltong from their butchery and delectable local and international treats.

The huge building measure approximately 3 000 square metres, one of the largest farm stalls in the southern hemisphere. Its architecture drew inspiration from the humble honeybee and so is built in the shape of a honeycomb with an open plan interior.

The Windmill restaurant alongside the Farm Stall is distinctly Dutch in it architectural style and offers delicious meals, also with Dutch flavour! We can recommend giving the warm apple tart and cream a try! Plan your trip around the towns attractions and leave about two hours to stop off at Jasmyn on your way out – it will end your visit to Harties on a high note!
